SalesPad 5.5.12 Release Notes

SalesPad 5.5.12 is now available! This release includes many impactful new features introduced since 5.5.7.

Sales Document Workflow Updates

  • A new Workflow Review tab displays configuration issues found in sales document workflows, helping identify and resolve workflow issues before they impact order fulfillment processes.  This tab appears in the Sales Document Workflow Setup screen next to the Workflow Rules tab for easy visibility of the issues found in each workflow.  Refer to this documentation article for more details on the checks performed.
  • Workflow Visualizer now prepends workflow rules with their rule sequence number for clearer visibility of the decision order that determines where sales documents can be routed.
  • Importing a workflow now completely replaces the existing workflow, eliminating the need to delete the current workflow before importing a new one.

New PayFabric Features

  • PayFabric customer wallets in SalesPad now support eChecks.  eChecks can now be viewed and created in the customer’s PayFabric Wallet tab, and they can be used to pay for that customer’s sales orders.  (Note: credit card wallets were already supported.)  Refer to this documentation article for information on using PayFabric eChecks in SalesPad.
  • PayFabric surcharges can now be seamlessly integrated into SalesPad. Surcharges set up in PayFabric will automatically be added to sales orders in SalesPad.  New settings allow configuring whether surcharges are added to the Misc Charge field or to a surcharge sales line.  Whichever option is used should be configured as non-taxable to prevent tax recalculations that would change the sales document total.
  • PayFabric authorizations are now audited to the sales document for visibility into when each authorization occurs.

New Import Capabilities

  • ☆☆☆ Purchase orders can now be imported via Import Manager in SalesPad.  POs and their lines can be bulk created and bulk updated from an Excel or CSV file.  (Note: Some PO line fields cannot be updated to prevent issues with receiving and SOP to POP links.)
  • The sales document import now supports updates to existing sales lines.  The sales line’s Item Number and unique Line Number must be supplied in the file.  (Note: Some sales line fields cannot be updated to prevent issues with fulfillments and SOP to POP links.)

Other Important Updates

  • The Automation Agent job for sending customer AR statements now supports national accounts
  • All eCommerce connectors (Shopify, WooCommerce, and Adobe Commerce / Magento) now offer configuration options for selecting which address should be set as the customer’s primary address in SalesPad during the Order Import
  • ☆☆☆ After logging in, if the current user is using multiple seats of SalesPad, a new message will inform them so that they can delete their idle connections or inform an admin.  This alert can be disabled via security, e.g. for admins.  New securities allow restricting access on the Active Users screen so that users can only see and delete their own user instance, making it more feasible to allow users to manage their own idle connections

☆☆☆ – these features were requested by our users in the SalesPad Ideas Portal
